Announcing Our Series B Investment in Spectrum Labs

We are thrilled to announce super{set}’s participation in Spectrum Labs’ Series B! Led by Intel Capital, we are joined in this round by new investors Munich Re Ventures, Gaingels, Harris Barton, and existing investors Wing Venture Capital, Greycroft, Ridge Ventures, and Global Founders Capital. The first-ever company to come out of super{set}, Spectrum uses Natural Language Understanding technology — AI — to analyze user-generated content across both text and audio, serving their mission to ensure every digital interaction can be built on accurate and measurable Trust & Safety infrastructure.
As the one-year anniversary of the January 6th storming of our nation’s Capitol recently reminded us, if we let the angry and violent voices speak the loudest, they win. Spectrum’s ambition to be the core platform powering trust is crucial to overcoming the type of online hate and toxicity that time and time again moves offline to cause harm in the real world. Like other super{set} companies, Spectrum has used data to build a durable technical advantage — namely AI that can recognize 40+ distinct toxic behaviors including hate speech and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in 30+ different languages. Spectrum’s Guardian platform then offers workflow automation to make it easy for Trust & Safety teams to recognize and respond to safety threats in real time. We believe Spectrum Labs will change the world for the better and are proud to continue to invest in them.
Spectrum will use their new funding to scale their Trust & Safety infrastructure into new parts of the enterprise like HR, sales, customer service, and brand safety.
